ISCR

connecting people to advance Cancer Research in Israel

The Israel Society for Cancer Research (ISCR) is the leading professional organization representing the cancer research community in Israel. Our members include scientists, physician-scientists, and healthcare professionals from universities, research institutes, medical centers, government organizations, and the life sciences industry.

Our mission is to foster scientific excellence and collaboration across disciplines and institutions. By connecting basic researchers, translational scientists, and clinical investigators, we create opportunities for discovery, innovation, and the rapid translation of scientific advances into improved patient care.

Cancer remains one of the most complex challenges in medicine. Progress depends on the open exchange of ideas, technologies, and expertise. ISCR serves as a platform for building these connections, strengthening collaborations within Israel, and promoting engagement with the global cancer research community.

Through our annual meetings, we support the dissemination of cutting-edge cancer research and help nurture the next generation of researchers and physician-scientists. Our annual conference brings together leading experts from Israel and around the world to share breakthroughs, foster collaborations, and discuss emerging opportunities in cancer biology, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.

A central goal of the Society is to provide young investigators, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and clinical trainees with opportunities to present their work, engage with leaders in the field, and become active members of a vibrant and collaborative scientific community.

ISCR works in close partnership with the Israel Cancer Association, who has played a vital role in strengthening cancer research and scientific exchange throughout Israel.

As part of its commitment to fostering international collaboration, ISCR is affiliated with the European Association for Cancer Research (EACR) and maintains strong connections with the global cancer research community, helping to promote scientific exchange and collaborative research across borders.
